Founded in November 1997, the Chengdu American Expo (CCBE) is the first beauty fair in central and western China and has been held for 21 consecutive years totalling 39 times. In October 2016, it was married to Infuman Informa, the world's third-largest exhibition group, and was the first exhibition in the West to receive foreign capital. Organiser Infumanvina Exhibition (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. is another of China's top U.S. Expo group exhibitors under the Infuman Exhibition Group.
The 40th Chengdu Beauty Expo 2018, with an exhibition area of 80,000 square meters and nearly 3,000 booths, will bring together more than 1,000 international and domestic exhibitors from Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Chongqing, Shaanxi, Gansu, Tibet and other central and western regions and other cities outside the province. CCBE's "4-plus-one" model covers five areas: professional beauty, daily line, medical plastic surgery, professional hairdressing and international brands.
